They think they have two mums...:-) I bought a new brand of duckling feed. Can anyone tell me if this will do? Isn`t it to high in protiene? It`s specially for new born ducklings...

Thanks Kathy! Yes, my duck hatched these. She kept laying wind-eggs (do you call it the same?). So i put some fertile eggs under her to get her broody and stop her from laying eggs anymore. It worked. Monday we are going to the vet and she will get an implant, so she will never lay any eggs...

They all have been limping. But with the other ones it just stopped. With the little drake it keeps coming back from time to time. At this moment he`s walking normal again. Maybe it`s because he`s so big and heavy? He`s almost twice the size.

After i wrote how she was doing she took a turn for the worse. She past away very quickly. The drake was laying beside her almost until her last breath. I called the vet to tell him the same duck he saw just an our ago was now passing away. He couldn't believe it! She was so alive when he saw...
