I LOVE when new ducklings pictures are posted!!!! So cute! I don't know what to tell you about the drake limping. If he's the only one limping and you already added niacin, I don't know. How do his feet look? Do his legs seem to have any sensitive spots? I'm just thinking about what I do to check my dog when she's limping.

They all have been limping. But with the other ones it just stopped. With the little drake it keeps coming back from time to time. At this moment he`s walking normal again. Maybe it`s because he`s so big and heavy? He`s almost twice the size.

Maybe. Were they not being given niacin in the beginning? Maybe because he grew faster the niacin deficiency affected him more? I put nutritional yeast on my ducks food. Maybe try given him a little special dish of food with some brewers or nutritional yeast on it too? If the others have stopped limping that's good. Maybe he's just having a harder time due to his rapid growth

Fertile eggs wouldn't always have blood, but the little white spot would look like a bulls eye. I don't see the inner circle on them so I think they are infertile.

Really? Good to know! I learn new things every day love this site. So white bulls eye can also mean fertile.

Fertile eggs will have a drop of blood in them. At least with chickens I know that's true. I would guess ducks are the same.

My eyes are not what they use to be Buck but here is a pic of a fertile duck egg for comparison.
