    We waited out the time & realized that it didn't grow. That's OK though. Later I opened it up to check & nothing had grown inside...must not have been fertilized or something.

    I have been incubating a duck egg for 3 weeks tomorrow. It has darkened through the middle, the ends are light but just the last 2 days it developed a 1X1 cm. area that is spotted (when I candle it). (rouen egg) any advice?

    extra incubator? help

    we made and incubator out of an old toaster-oven & it is working pretty well. I wet a towel every day & a we have a thermometer in the oven. I researched what temp. & humidity I need, but I don't have a way to check humidity. any ideas?

    I took her to a vet & they called a lady at CSU who's job is dealing with poulty... they don't know what is wrong & gave her some fluids, antibiotic, & charcoal that she regurgitated quite a bit. I hope she gets better. thanks for the advice

    PANIC: disorientated duck

    My duck (hen) is around 6 months old, has been laying eggs & this morning was disorientated. She has been walking in circles & can't seem to find the rest of the flock.
