On Monday evening I noticed one of my chickens was just sitting on the ground and wouldn't get up or eat. She did go up in the coop on her own. On Tuesday I was watching her closely. She only moved about a foot outside the coop and just sat there for a few hours. I started looking around online...
They both sound the same to me. They both quack pretty loudly occasionally which is why I thought they were both girls. Could one girl try to mount another girl?
The ducks are about 2 1/2 months old and the showgirl is a little over 5 months. I know the quacks are different but I am still not sure what they are suppose to sound like. I thought they were both girls but I just saw one mounting the other, that's why I thought I would ask.
I finally talked to someone who will take them. I am getting ready to leave but my husband wants to wait until I talk to the girl because we told her we would let her know before we did anything with them. She did not answer her phone so now I am just waiting on her to call back. Hopefully soon...
We are looking for a place to take them. I called a couple of places yesterday but nobody answered. I will keep trying. We don't have the room to keep them. They are eating and drinking. They can jump so high! It has been fun to watch them. The girl I got them from has heard several rescues...
A girl my husband knows found some wood ducklings. She can't keep them so she brought them to us. We are trying to figure out what to do with them since it's illegal to keep them. I found two places in the area and was talking to the girl about them. She said someone told her that these two...
I was mistaken about the dog killing the mom. The dog killed two ducklings. She never saw the mom. She looked and couldn't find the mom. I do think they may be wood ducks, they look a lot like them. Should we keep them?
Thank you. Should I not put her out with the older ones. They are full grown and would most likely kill, even by accident. I just think she will freak if she is by herself. She is even getting to small for the other chicks she is with. I have seen her get trampled a couple of times.
I have a chick that pretty much stopped growing at about 2-3 weeks old. She is 9 weeks old now. She is eating and drinking. She runs around outside. I have any idea what could be wrong.
Here are some pictures of her 2-3 weeks ago.
In this one she is the same age as the other one.
Here she is...
Well that doesnt sound like fun. I was hoping that would be a good solution to all the guppies. He should have taken my advice before getting them.
These are pekins, right? Thats what the feed store told me, but they dont know what they are talking about half the time.
I figured it would be fine. My husband thinks its mean. I asked what was the difference between buying feeder fish and giving them guppies. They are both fish! In a few months we are going to have hundreds of fish and nothing to do with them.
