okay so i hatched 57 quail from my own eggs, all my quail are coturnix quail. so out of the 57 that hatched two of them are all white?!? why is this?!? are they albino? the feathers they are growing in are white too

i wish some more people knew information! are you having the same issue? it doesnt bother me but some of my customers that i sell them to stop buying because theyre grossed out

what can i feed baby quail

hi i set 48 coturbix quail eggs in my incubator and the first is about to hatch! i have no idea what to feed them will my local feed store have it or is it something special? also how long do they stay on that feed till they switch to a different kind? are they fine on shavings or paper towels...

my one rooster is scared of the other rooster who is the boss , when the scared rooster mates the hens the boss rooster comes over and scares him away mostly by going for his comb why and hiw can i stoo this!!!

How did you like it? I find it very dirty there im always afraid of bringing home disease but a good variety of animals

if youre giving them too many scraps they wont be getting the ideal nutrition the crumbles provide exactly what they need and the scraps make them have too much of one nutrient which they may be tring to find more nutrients like in eggs that might be why she is eating the eggs , just a thought...

what kind of food are you feeding them did you check for parisites?

if she has mites or fleas the other chickens may try to peck them off to eat, eventually that will draw blood and the chickens will go CrAzY over the blood, just a suggestion for you to check

where are they pecking her at? the comb? back? is there any blood? you could try putting a small hole in egg, draining yolk and egg white out, then filling with mustard that will teach her a lesson and hopefully she wont eat any other eggs, also putting golf balls in the nest box could help, she...

yes i made a mistake! it should be it dips down to 99.3

i have a THL2 data logger in my bator that i ordered from Strombergs i plug it into the computer and it shows what my temps and humidity were. for the most part is says 99.5 but for a couple minutes occasionally it dips down to 99.3 my incubator is adjustated by a dial should i move it up a bit...
