Please can somebody look at my rooster's feet. Is this scaley leg mite?

Hi When examining him today I noticed a large black scab on the pad of his foot. Not sure how I missed it before. Anyway we're off to the vets tomorrow as I think it's bumblefoot and far too severe for me to treat alone. Thanks for all of your advice

Any ideas what breed these are?

My parents live in Spain and have just bought 4 hens at POL. Unfortunately their spanish and knowledge of chickens is poor and are know unsure what they have got. Mum thinks they are RIRs. However, from the photos I sure you can see that they aren't. Does anyone have any ideas what they are...

Please can somebody look at my rooster's feet. Is this scaley leg mite?

Thank you for taking a second look. I've decided to treat it with vaseline as if it is scaly leg mite it will treat it and if it isn't it shouldn't do him any harm. I'll give it a couple of weeks and see what happens.

Please can somebody look at my rooster's feet. Is this scaley leg mite?

Hi, thank you for looking. No you're right he's about 18 months old. I've added another photo. I don't know if this is any better to look at. He doesn't seem to be in any pain and he isn't trying to scratch it or anything. He charges around the garden quite happily. It just doesn't look...

Has my hen got a cold?

My little 20 week old hen has constantly got a 'crusty' nose. I have wiped it (quite firmly) to remove the crust but then it starts running. I have noticed her sneezing a little too. Should I be concerned? I haven't noticed any of the others in the flock with these symptoms.

Please can somebody look at my rooster's feet. Is this scaley leg mite?

My roo seems healthy and has no problems walking etc but I have noticed the scales where his foot bends are raised and look sore and flakey. Is this something I should be worried about? If so what should I do? Thank you

    Have I bought 2 cockerels?

Yesterday I bought 2 light sussex crosses and a cuckoo maran. I was told they were all 18 weeks and pullets. I put them in with my existing flock last night and have been tolerated by the hens. I noticed this morning that my rooster tried to mate with the maran but behaved differently around the...

    Are my pullets cockerels?

Yesterday I bought the 2 chickens(shown above) they are light susses (possibly crossed with maran or brahma) I was told they were pullets of about 18 weeks.I also bought an 18 week old cuckoo maran (shown below) which was kept in a different pen so wasn't comparable at the time. Now I have them...
