    Update on my three chickens... I now have two laying yayyy! Just waiting on last one now. She's just six months old so looks like she is going to wait til she's 7 months like the Wyandotte did

    I do let them roam in the garden but only when Im around so Id see them. Ive checked under bushes but nothing.

    So here are my three. The Wyandotte has quite a red face but has no 'comb' as yet. The Orpington does have 'comb'. Is this significant to laying or gender?

    My Wyandotte is very timid and yet quite a bully to my Faveralle and Buff Orpington. She (or is it a he??) wont let me near her and constantly has stand offs. Could she be a he?

    Yayyy my Faveralle has started laying again. Two in two days. Just waiting on the the two younger bantoms to start laying 6mnths and 5 mnths ....am i being impatient?

    Hi yes Im a new chicken owner. I have a Salmon Faveralle 10 months old who had laid before me getting her. After 2 weeks she laid for me one egg every other day but appears to have stopped again. I also have a 6mth old Wyandotte not laying; and a 5mth Buff Orpington not laying. Is this normal or...
