Hi, i need advice on an automatic chicken door. After about a year I'm plum sick of gettng up early and opening the chicken door and closing it at night. What and how can I get or make a cheaply priced chicken door?

Hi everyone! I was wondering what other household things you can use besides buying leg bands for the chickens. I need to tell a few apart but the feed store is out of legbands. I dont want to unintentially use something that will hurt them. thought you guys would have some ideas! thanks!
but..the thermometer in the coop says 10 degrees..and that is when I check before I go to bed. It could get WAY colder when Im sleeping.
is it still 70 degrees 18 inches away? The coop is small so i cant imagine the thermometer to be more than 18 inches away
ok guys...i have a 3X4X4 coop for three chickens...then they have a run. I have a 100 watt red flood light in there...and it doesnt seem to be doing hardly anything. I dont have insulation or anything. would a 250 watt be TOO hot?

hey. I have a small enough coop for three chickens...they keep themselve pretty warm with body heat..but I just bought a red 85 watt flood light for when it gets really super cold.
