Yep 3! No more though. I went and got myself fixed. Lol
I don't know of any young horses. But I do know of a few a bit older. Red is 14 years old big red roan gelding, 16 hands, then Lacey bay and white pinto mare, she's 14.3 hands, and is10 years old. Both in excellent health and very well...
Awesome! Thanks for the insight! The stall and paddock will be completely netted over. I have a lot of birds of prey where I live. But attached to the paddock is also a 1/2 grazing pasture. Im assuming once they are bigger they wont be doing any flying.
Then again. Would they even use the 1/2...
SO how big is your tractor? ANd how many birds sis you have in it?
I'm putting an order in for 50 Cornish-x and two bronze broad chested turkeys. The stall I will be using is 10'x10' with an attached paddock that is 50'x20'. Just concerned that this wont be enough room for the meaties...

Oh we have more than just bears dear! lol Huge roaming packs of coyotes, bear, cougar, raccoon, neighbor dogs neighbor cats, mink, Civets, and others predators as well.
You might be close enough to enough people that the cougar might stay away from your area. But I highly doubt it. Its just not...
Well she hasn't actually eaten any dogs or coyotes, but she sure tries too! Chases them right out of the field teeth bared, snaking her head/neck after them! Luckily she seems to know that our dogs are part of the herd, and doesn't bother them.
I haven't even had the bear wander onto my...
You have Icelandics?!? They are fairly small in comparison to other LF breeds right? I know they are VERY hardy and fend well for themselves. At least that's what a couple years of reading on them have taught me. lol
What are your experiences with them so far? Do you like them?

I know right where your at! lol Would take me about 3 minutes to get to that intersection! lol
At the moment our hen is content bedding down in the outdoor dog bed! She sleeps on my porch, gets brought inside when the temps dip below freezing, and is generally spoiled rotten for a chicken! lol...

Ok so this might sound silly. But I have a promise to keep to my lone hen. I promised this hen that if she survived the winter, I would get her a new flock to raise.
So does anyone have any barn yard bantam mix's coming available early spring? I'm only looking for three or four.
I was out in the rain for under 5 minutes. I fed the chicken, and the horses and was soaked in that short amount of time. SO glad I dug trenches early this year. Now its a matter of keeping them all clear and flowing.
Im not big on grounding. Was always a joke when I was a kid. Did nothing but cause idle hands. And well you know what they say about idle hands... tends to cause even more trouble.
Chloe has always been exceedingly smart. My Dh and I agreed before we had the girls, that we would never baby...
