thanks for that info thoes 2 seem to do no matter the time of day. seems like they are just doing it for fun but i could be wrong i guess. and if i get 2 or more males i was going to put them in seperate cages

Yes they are feathering now. i cant believe how fast they grow have fun hatching out 50+ quail LOL going to be an experience i dont think im ready to try out lol. these 8 are a hand full

im using a hovabator and its styrofoam and i got some good hatches out of it :D out if the 10 i put in lock down 8 hatched, and this is my first time trying to hatch quail. guess it also depends on the brand you are using. Its shouldnt be long now if its beak is pipping out :D

I never saw the pips in mine it all happened so fast i looked at them in the morning with no pipping then went to the store and came back like 3 or 4 hours later and there was 6 in the bator then the remaining 2 that hatched were with in an hour later. so it might take you buy suprise like it...

if it was 99 that should be fine. leave the eggs in there for a few extra days the one degree could make then have a delayed hatch depending how early in the incubation process it was. if they dont hatch in say 3 days float test them like substained said. they could just be duds from rough...

oh and I would put mutiple tempature gauges to see how consistant the temp is. all my 8 hatched in the same day with a few hours apart from eachother. but of course 100 eggs is alot more so some will hatch at different times. were they shipped eggs or did you buy them localy or were they yours...
