I have a bag of "Eight", the new improved "Sevin" I assume......will this be adequate to have on hand in the event of a mite infestation? Or do I need to find sevin? I am almost scared of the trolls for asking this question....hopefully someone has some first hand experience with it.

Some may have read...I have three hens and a rooster right now... the hens are the dominant birds....without a doubt. Will this keep a rooster quiet? I have only heard him crow twice...he isa silkie rooster I'm told....my Buff Orpington, my barnevelder, or my Red chicken won't let the rooster...
Forgive the quality of the pics please....the cute little buggers are hard to catch on camera well. I have noticed white beak tips on a few of our new chicks...is this normal beak development? I've never had chicks and can't find anything about it in a forum search.....the other chicks keep...
