all locked into the coop last night. there is a screened door with hardware cloth. barn windows that tilt in for fresh air. Nothing really eaten. just all killed. Hardly a drop of blood. The critter even found its way out. Any ideas what it might be?

She is such a good mama. THey must have hatched a day or two ago already! She is taking them all around the yard already. One white( I have no white chickens), one yellow and one black with a white fluffy butt. Mama may be a cuckoo.

I came home today and saw a few little birds following a chicken around. I don't count my birds everynight! I thought maybe some song birds were mingling with my hens. Upon closer inspection we now have 3 little chicks running around the yard. I can't WAIT to see how they turn out.
I'm thinning out the flock to special on just a few breeds. Birds are 10-13 months old unless otherwise noted

Thank you!!! I'm actually going to a show tomorrow. I"ll keep a seperate area for my egg layers and one for the meat birds. But I just am having a hard time narrowing it down. I'm sure people will say to go with what I love. I'd love to see some Brahmas. Anyone have good info on those?
