I want to get more chickens but unsure the safest way to introduce them to my existing 6 chickens. I will be getting them from a tractor supply so they will be babies. i intended them to be in a brooder for about 2 or so months till they are old/ big enough. but unsure if that is what is...
One a few start is it safe to say more will start, kinda of like women and their monthly? Or is every chicken on there own.? I have a dark coop but now that I see I don't think i have enough bedding in there for them so thank you.
Now some times I let them out of their run so they can free graze. Shiuld I be concerned with them laying everywhere or will they always go in there coop?

I am first time chicken owner and I still have chicks I am getting a start on my coop and was looking at different styles but was wondering do chickens need those bins to lay or just an area where they all go and lay?
