    I bought them from tractor supply May 4th. They were 5 days old and the girl there didn't know what they were. I thought they were barred rocks but I was wrong. Im a little disappointed, I wanted more brown eggs but there not going anywhere.

    I have 4 of these girls that are about 25 weeks. I think they are barred rocks and would lay brown eggs and been patiently waiting for eggs. Well for three days now I've had an extra white egg so I waited around the coop today to figure out the mystery. And she laid an egg and it was white.

    Today I got a second egg from my jersey giant she is 16 weeks but the egg was like a deflated football. It got stepped on and the shell was rubbery.

    I noticed a couple days ago one of my jersey giants was squatting down when I would touch her and today I found an egg and today i noticed one of my leghorns is squatting down when I touch her so maybe soon 2 eggs.

    I have 6 15 week old chickens and 6 15 week old ducks they live great together. I also have 6 8 week old chickens that have been living in the same coop but separated. They can see each other day and night. My question is when should I put them together?
