I have a nine month old Silkie who has black spots all over him even on his eyeball I first noticed them the day after I got him he was two weeks old then and they didn't seem to effect him in anyway I'm really just curious
I think you can save her don't give up! Try rinsing her wounds until they are clean make sure there's no food or shavings in her wounds clip her feathers around 1/2 an in of the wound then I'd try to stitch it post more pics if you can I've seen people stitch them on here before I'm sure you can too
Thank you silo btw that's the same bird my only ee I don't think I've ever seen one with markings like that she looks like a hawk! Hope thats a good thing as we have five that fly over our house often I wish I could find more like her she's beautiful and she's grown the fastest out my others...
I have a four almost five week old ee she's starting to make a different sound then the rest of my girls and she's way bigger anything I can do to figure out early?
This is my week old ameraucana her legs are a bluish gray and she has the big cheeks i can get better pics if needed. but I keep reading that most of the time it's a EE not ameraucana it's not that important I just want to know what I have its my first time owning chickens so I'm kinda clueless...
