should I separate the chicken completely from the flock? right now I have zymox topical spray that we got from someone we know.. would that work? also how do I clean the wound? should I get vet tape? sorry this is all so new to me I have had the chickens for almost a year with no problems :(

So this morning a raccoon got into our coop and killed two chickens and left one with a huge wound that covers her whole back. We got Vetericyn but I don't know how to clean the wound. I have had such an awful day the last thing I need is to loose another one of my babies.... please help me...

Awe thank you so much!! Surprisingly they aren't picking on her yet. I have been putting vitamin powder in their water and have been serving boiled eggs with grit

Thank you so much. I have been giving her sugar water and it says that it makes their poop runny so it is a little tummy but I will keep watching. She does seem to be improving a little bit so I suppose that is much better than getting worse. She eats a lot of the egg I give her and she can walk...
