Hi,
My two 9-month old pullets are sick. They're eating, drinking, and moving around fine, there's just something up with their breathing. I first noticed it because they would sneeze and throw their heads to the side at the same time, like they were trying to dislodge something. They also...
Hi
I was giving the pullets some afternoon free ranging time this afternoon, when, lo and behold, I spot something flapping its wings on the other side of me and my neighbour's fence. Just to make sure I'm not crazy, I go over there. I find my neighbour's rabbit, on the left side of her double...
You know, this is very interesting, since I have an EE that originally came from McMurray that looks almost exactly like Bountiful. So the colour is called brown red? Mine also has slate legs, so will she lay blue eggs?

What really concerns me is that only the EE is doing the picking. Sometimes she even picks at her own toes!
And yes, I do use a red heat lamp.
P.S. They are 1-day-old
Hi.
I have 2 chicks. One is a RIR and the other is an EE. I just got them today. But here's my problem: the EE is absolutely obsessively picking at the RIR's toes. The RIR peeps really loud when this happens and has finally learned to sit down so that the EE can't get at her toes. Do any of you...
