Really? but it walks funny like a runner does and stands straight up like one, but if so what are the black and yellow ones?
they look like blue swedish ducklings. i have some pics on my camera of my khakis and blue swedish ducklings and they look exactly the same
i have some silkies from cackle as pets and when i got them most have vaulted skulls and are close to the silkie standard. definetly better quality than any other hatchery i have ordered from.
i have some sq silkies and i want to separate them by color. anyone out there havs some suggestions i have had them on a wire cage floor but am expanding and would like a walk in coop. i need them to keep dry and clean all they're lives. any ideas?
well i have owned brahmas silkies and cochins and i would say that silkies have always been better broodies and all are good mothers but the silkies just seem to know what they are doing.
the males should also have much bigger combs and the hens usually have more circular crests while the roos crests look like they have been combed back.
yepper you can feed the hens and roosters laying mash and some snacks are yogurt, french fries, pasta, and most other foods. you can pretty much feed them any human food that they can fit in they're mouths and it really doesnt matter too much if you aren't showing them. good luck
wow i would love to have some as a 4-h project.they are the coolest looking brahmas ive ever seen. but my incubator broke and i am in the process of getting a new one. will you have more eggs available? or is it possible to get chicks from you?
well i really hate the store bought ones, but making one is a challenge. i would just wait till the hen goes broody and put then eggs under her that you want hatched. i wouldnt take the eggs from her until they hatch.
i saw chemical incubators that have elecronic temp and humidity control for cheap.i was wondering that if i bought one would it work for hatching eggs?
