My girt would eat bugs when we took her outside for dusting, sunbathing ect. Otherwise, she loved dried meal worms...but not until she got older. Along with veggies finely chopped and fruits.....strawberries and watermelon are a favorite! I just try to keep it healthy Congrats on your indoor...

Ok...so I had to get regular chick feed this time. The TSC was out of the purina one I got the first time. So...for my ducklings I got the powdered brewers yeast to put in their food. From what I could find...it said one tablespoon per cup of feed. Is that correct? Also, I couldn't find how...

Yes..my hubby was massaging him down so I think it probably broke up whatever was there. This baby scared me to death!!!! And now I am watching it eat with paranoia...poor baby! Thank you so much I have been checking out so many threads on duckling care..my head is spinning!
He seems ok at the moment. I gave him a clear dish of water to flush out any food that may have gotten caught. He was snuggled with the others sleeping and they are all up eating and drinking again. I am watching him closely and he seems to be doing ok. I made sure their food is completely moist...
Thank you for trying to help! we did give him a dish of clear water to flush and drink and it seems he has worked out the issue Scared me to death!!!! They have a deep waterer to submerge their beaks..so not sure what happened. I made sure their food it wet mash with no dry spots!
YES!!! Give those sisters some splash babies to hatch It is a win...win situation...right So do roosters do Ok if you keep them all together? Mine are 10 days old, so can't tell at this point...only suspect boys because they are feathering out more slowly
