    I have 6 hens age 3. they have always been good layers. But stating in August they began to reduce and have not laid an egg since the end of September. Their coop is heated and lighted. Any thoughts? Live in mid west so not terrible weather.

    That has happened to me. one time they had a secret nest. The other was when the days and nights were extremely hot - 95-100 during the day and not much better at night.

    I have a flock of 10 hens. They are wonderful. However, Toad, flies - high. I have raised the fence twice, but she just looks at that as her new challenge. So i guess i will resort to clipping her wings. Has anyone done this and would be willing to tell me how? Thanks
