    Her skin was cut by my rooster' spurs. : I had to perform surgery around midnight which after STUDYING YouTube surgery videos. It was difficult because she wouldn't stand still because of the pain. That happen in May and finally, during these recent weeks, she started growing out feathers...

    What a wonderful doctor he really is! If you noticed the pics I posted of my girl, the stitches on yours look much better but that's because she was put to sleep while mine had her " surgery " done @ midnight. I'm glad yours is doing better and I'm sure you'll keep an eye on her 24/7.

    If possible, go to any drug store and get hydrogen peroxide to wash away ALL bacteria from the wound. Just pour it all over the wound. It kills bacteria

    You can do surgery yourself if no vet is available. I've done it with my hen . My rooster has gigantic spurs and I believe this was done while mating. I did what I had to do and study YouTube videos of surgeons. Then I used what I had available, a needle for clothes and a regular thread. Yes...

    This is what I did with a vietnam vet friend : He did the welding : I asked him to weld a piece to hold the flag : Then I got free pallets from someone off Craigslist : Used that for flooring: No way a racoon can sneak it! :)

    This is what you need to do. Wear rubber boots and raise one leg and keep it to the rooster's eye level. That way it'll attack the boot and won't jump higher than your waist.
