3 month old chicks are dying fast

I lost another 7 chicks today. I have 5 left and they are acting halfway normal. I think the Corrid was given a lot too late to save them. I hope the remaining chicks survive.

Do pigeons have to have fly space?

I have a pen that is 6 foot long by 3ft tall by 3 foot deep. One third of it is enclosed (for shelter). It stands 4 foot off the ground. I plan on getting one pair of pigeons to raise in the pen. I haven't planned on flying them. Will they be healthy and happy?

    Moving hen and nestbox

I was wondering how big a chance I would be taking by moving my sitting hen and her eggs to a differant box in a coop by herself. Is there a good chance she will continue sitting or get spooked by the new enviroment. My other hens are wearing her out trying to use her nest.

    Hello from Lebanon, TN

Just started my flock a month ago. Always raised chickens growing up so I thought I would start again for my kids to enjoy. (or least thats my excuse to my wife) I currently have a mixed flock and started getting eggs 2 weeks ago. I am truly having a blast.

Eager to learn about mottled cochins.

I was thumbing through The Murrey Mcmurray catalog and saw a picture of "mottled cochins". The description stated the feathers were black with green tinting. Does anyone raise this breed and would share info, pics and such. Thanks.
