    Feed a cold? Feed a fever?

    It is feed a cold, starve a fever (with lots of liquid) so it is more like drowned a fever. Chicken soup/broth for the flu.

    Husband when we were farming and hobby farming, would buy a bale of alfalfa and put a wedge or square in the coop. Said it would relace thegreenery they get in the growing season. Pellets would work too.

    How long will it take my girls to adjust to being without a rooster

    Husband says you only need a rooster if you want to hatch chicks from your own flock.The hens, he says wll not miss him. They probably look arond to see if he is about to "mate". Lastly, they, the roosters, are fun as the do crow and prance in their pretty boy way.

    Anyone have a hobby that doesn't involve yarn and sewing?

    I do some crocheting, sew (mostly to patch things), goof off on the computer, read (lots), sudoku, but lots of stained glass. Going to try a larger piece (Window). I forgot I like to garden.

    In case you every wondered...what a difference my robot has made!!!

    Have one too, gift from daughter it is a 560. Was saving for a 530. 1st time use, had to empty the dust ben and clean brushes several times. Now, cleans 3 rooms with one cleaning at the end.
