Hello, several years ago we bought them for $35 a dozen. It takes a fair amount of work to wrap the eggs, put bubble wrap around for shipment, etc. so it has to be worth your while. God bless!
An incubator ( and body temp) are around 99-100 degrees, and room temp is around 70 degrees, so if it's meant for people or room temp, I think you're all set. Good luck!

We have run into this as well, but primarily when we housed different varieties together (the one breed, Barred Rocks, were more aggressive then the Red Dorkings and would always eat their eggs). This resolved when we put them in separate coops/stalls.

Are they free roaming outside? They may be happier with the forage they have, if so. Do you have a mixed flock? We've raised a handful of varieties, and they seem to have different levels of interest in "scraps." We currently have Red Dorkings and Barred Rocks.
