Update on Lynda. She is still not walking and her comb is limp and folded over. I dont know what to do for her. Going to take her for a weight check tomorrow..i really hope she is gaining weight.
She did suffer some spinal cord damage. Nothing broken but it is stretched and curved. We have had her in a hammock for a few days trying to stimulate some leg movement. We aren't getting much.
She was stuck for an unknown amount of time by her head. She broke her right wing and was almost dead when we found her. She is eating and drinking, a little diarrhea but vet gave us tylosin for that. When I pick her up and touch her feet she doesn't react at all. It's like she's paralyzed??
I have only had chickens for about a year now and unfortunately one of my hens has been injured and now she won't stand or walk. It has been 6 days and she won't try at all. We have her in a sling to promote feet movement on the ground but nothing. Is there anything I can do?? will she ever...
