Also, i would take a warm wet cotton ball and a put it on the bird eye. Adventually, the bird would be able to open here eye. I used eye drops as well. I would put Vaseline on the eye after it was clean and open.

I have three hens about 16 weeks old. They are living outside in their coop. I noticed tonight that all three are shaking there heads! What is going on? I just don't know what to do. Is there any advice or ideas out there?

Is it Mereks? I had one this past Fall.

I also have mine out all day in the run. I take them in at night, only because I lost a hen a few weeks ago.

I have three 6-7 week old chicks and a 1 year old hen. The hen is obviously already outside in her coop, but when should I move my chicks out with her? (I have been letting the chicks & hen mingle under my watch of course).
