    Wing Paralysis from Bobcat Attack!!!

Hello All- A few weeks ago my Barred Rock hen was attacked by a Bobcat. She had no puncture wounds but we could tell something was wrong with her wing. There was no sign of a break anywhere, but she was pretty sick for a while. We "nursed" her back to health with antibiotics and a lot of TLC &...

Mine didn't start laying until 20 weeks. But she has been the most consistent layer of my pullets. Also, at 18-22 weeks old it was in the 100's here in North Texas.

Anyone ever see a buff Orpington with ear muffs? My pullet is about 11 weeks old. All of a sudden she started getting real fluffy by the ears. I have no recent shot of her (she is camera shy) but this picture is about 2 weeks ago.

I have (6) 10 week old pullets. One just starting pulling feathers. (They have a 6x6 coop plus a 8x10 run) They aren't free ranging yet as we have a lot of preditors. They are on a medicated starter 18% protein, but didn't look at calcium. Do you think they may be needing calcium already? I...

    Rooster question

So here is a question then: This one came to us as an "Australorp", feathers came in gold. Looks like a black sex-link, (which would make her a her.) However, she has had a red comb from about 4 weeks, now has a red face, including ears and wattles. She is 10 weeks now. What do you guys think...
