Is this something I should be worried about? Maybe what I saw that looked like egg whites was and that extra little piece was a membrane from it and it broke? The small little part had its own membrane. The part that worries me is there was no evidence of a yolk. I'm worried about egg yolk...
Hello! The other day I noticed one of my light brahmas seemed to poop out what looked like egg yolk. And we found another spot in the yard. Today she pooped out this!!! What on earth is going on??? She's about a year old and just started laying about a month and a half ago. Other than this...
My chicks have grown so much since I got them! And I'm so confused on what a few of them are! I have two white chicks but they're getting brown in them. They confuse me the most since they started out pure white!!!
Then I have one who started out normal size but she's getting huge compared...
Hello! We have been wanting to get more pullets and they happened to be on sale today as they're getting fairly large. I got 3 australorps but they have white in their wings. Any idea what they could be crossed with or if the white will stay?
I have four that look similar but I'm not sure...
Hello again!!! The chicken is doing better and trying to use her injured foot. There's new scales growing. But now where the old stuff hadnt shed yet, there's a green goo oozing out if you gently squeeze it or try to peel some stuff off. We gave her antibiotics for a while. Any idea what kind...

Will he loose feathers on his neck?!? Those things are so ugly lol The lady did say she couldn't guarantee they weren't mixed except for the barred rocks she had which were separated. He's cool :)
Update on conehead: he's doing well and becoming quite pretty! His new name is darth Vader as we named all our newest chickens something from the series, including white silkies which are known as storm troopers. Here's a few pics of him!
I love all our feather babies and I call my fiancé the chicken and Guinea whisper. He can sit down in the yard and they'll all circle him. But they won't do it for anyone else. :)
S/He's supposed to be an Ameuricana. But it could be mixed with something I guess, but I'm not sure the lady I got him from had silkies. She did have some weird bread with no feathers on its neck but it's head was fluffy like a silkie. :)
