Thank you
I think it might have been sour crop or something like that as you say, her crop felt quite full but soft, and she was getting worse and more brown fluid was dripping out her mouth by the end
Thanks for all your help
Ok thank you.
We kept her in a separate crate - unfortunately having woken up this morning she seems worse, not opening her eyes at all now and also some brown fluid came out of her mouth
We’re taking her to the vet later today though so hopefully she can get better soon
My chicken looks really ill, I went down to check on the chickens this afternoon and she was sitting on the ground and when I picked her up then put her back down again she was very unsteady and basically fell onto her side.
I checked around her vent and there was loads of caked poo, so I put...
I have six chickens and one of them about 2 years and one of them has started losing a lot of feathers but the others have not even though three others are exactly the same breed as size. She is a lot smaller and it seems as if all her outer feathers have gone (darker than the other as well) but...
Thanks for the replies the first one has started crowing so definitely boy but still not sure about others. Found a shellless egg this morning so porsibbly layed by the light brahma? But could have been one of the others

I'm not an expert but looks like pullet to me! I also have some 11 weeks olds at the moment one cockerel has appeared and I'm hoping that the rest are girls and I just keep telling myself - their combs and wattles have to grow in some time!
We have one who when she (or he) was about seven weeks...
