BCM with yellow feet- is this really a BCM?

Thanks so much for both responses. I did read on one website that yellow feet in a BCM is considered a rare flaw. It's definitely an interesting conversation. I brought this guy into my flock to add different genetics, but now the only roos I will have to work with are offspring of my original...

BCM with yellow feet- is this really a BCM?

I just picked up a 9 week cockerel from a lady who told me he is a black copper marans. But right away I noticed he is different than my many other BCM hens and roos. He has yellow legs and feet, where all my others have black legs and feet. Is this just a genetic rarity? Or is he not actually a...

Yes, that's what I'm afraid of. The combs aren't very red yet, but none of my females have those wattles yet!

Help sexing black copper marans 6.5 weeks old

of my 11 straight run black copper marans, I have two that I'm still uncertain about in terms of gender. Combs and wattles are paler and smaller than the other obvious cockerels. At 6.5 weeks is there a chance these are pullets?

Could either of these be half welsummer?

Ok, one thing I don't get is that #1 had a single comb. That doesn't make sense if she's from the red Icelandic and EE

Could either of these be half welsummer?

Here are pics of the icelandic roos. No blue legs, does that change things? Does that mean the first one has EE mother?

Could either of these be half welsummer?

I have a couple mixed breed pullets (15 weeks old) and I'd really like to know if either one could be half welsummer. Unfortunately, a friend of mine hatched these in her incubator so I didn't see which chicks came from which eggs. I have 2 icelandic mix roosters (one red and one white) and one...

12 week barnyard mix has me stumped

The darker red splashes of color on the wing indicate cockerel from my understanding. Correct me if I'm wrong??

12 week barnyard mix has me stumped

I am thinking rooster because of the red in the wing. Is that a dead giveaway? Or could it possibly still be a pullet?

6 week mixed breed gender help

I have ten 6 week old chicks I'd like help with. This is the first time I have hatched eggs from my own flock. they are now 16 weeks and I am finally convinced (thanks to curly tail feathers!) that I have two cockerels and one pullet. Bummer! I have never ended up with more pullets than cockerels when I hatch my own eggs!:(:hmm

    8.5 week Icelandic/Wyandotte genders?

I have 3 chicks, 8.5 weeks old that I am having a hard time deciding on gender. My neighbor gave me these hatching eggs and her roosters were all Icelandic and her hens are various Wyandottes. So here are the three. I feel confident the darkest brown one is a pullet. The cream and gold ones are...
