    Some roosters just don't get along...unfortunately. I would suggest getting rid of one. Definitely not to many hens for one rooster.

    A few hens to one rooster is usually fine depending on the rooster...if you a want all eggs to be fertile you want no more than 15 hens per rooster.

    Yes. I would say Dark Brahma. The gender would be hard to tell at this age, but knowing that it is a freebie from Murray Mcmurray I would say probably a rooster. It seems mostly that way when they send a free one.
