Hi there. Can someone advise me of the proper food for a goose? I have a pair of Sebastopol geese that hatched out some babies, and I’m noticing both adults feathers have gotten brittle. I was told an all flock feed would be sufficient, but now I’m doubting that.
I would appreciate any advice.
Hi there. I have two blue and one black Isbar about 15-17ish weeks old. I’m having a harder time judging if they are pullets or cockerels and would really appreciate help! :barnie

I have a Speckled Sussex who took ages to grow it's tail. Finally has now, but does that really mean it's a roo? I've heard that roos stay fluffier and take longer to feather out.
Pictures for judging...
Edit to add: It's about 8 weeks old.
I'm not familiar with seramas. This is my first chick. I was hopeful that it might be a girl. It developed tail feathers and pin feathers super quickly. Then it sprouted the comb. It's too pink to be a female, right? No?
Only two weeks old, so I know that's way early, but again, I'm unfamiliar...
I have no chicks like this. Sent hubby to the feed store to grab me the remaining Salmon Faverolles. He came back with this chick.
She has grey-tinged feet. Nothing like I've seen. Doesn't really look like the gold sex links (lady at the feed store suggested this when I called asking if there...
Hey guys! I'm excited. My babies (half of them) have finally gotten old enough to post here so that I can get some gender guessing help! I have this little Buff Orpington, and three Ameraucanas. I'm pretty stumped as this is my first time with chicks!

I have a cream legbar a few weeks old. She has been breathing with her mouth open, and occasionally making a strange clicking sound. She is eating and drinking well, and appears fine. Should I be worried? Is it a quirk, or a sign of possible breathing problems...
I posted this in another area, but thought maybe this was a better fit. I recently ended up with 13 little chicks almost a week ago, with the hope that I'll end up with 6 little ladies (too optimistic? ) They're all various ages and I have no idea how old, so I thought I'd come check this out...
Hey there, hope this is an okay place to post this. I recently ended up with 13 little chicks almost a week ago, with the hope that I'll end up with 6 little ladies (too optimistic? ) They're all various ages and I have no idea how old, so I thought I'd come check this out and post here to see...
Picked these babies up from a farm and he said they were Ameraucanas. I've read that they're mislabeled a lot, so I thought I'd check to see if that's what they actually are. Also, how old do you think they might be? It was a chaotic day and I forgot to ask.
