They run around the back yard (1/2 acre) and spend most of the time in the pools. I have a grazing area for them but they maybe spend 10-15 mins there and back to the pools.
Lol I'm willing to get bigger pond just not sure what type of cleaning pump system to get with ducks. At the moment I have 2 ducks but wanting to expand.
I am currently using a kiddie pool and 33 gal preformed pond for my ducks which requires clean out and refilling d daily. What options are there for a pond that doesn't require daily clean out and dumping of water?

I know it is a ways off but wanted to know what to use for heat source with ducks through the winter. When I was young we had heated barn for all the animals now ducks live in the shed with electricity. What kind of heaters or what to use for cold winters. Please advise.
we have Lee trinity in the sheds and a light. The shed is about 20 x 10 and the heat lamp doesn't make it to hot.

I tried the night light last night after 3 hours of them quaking I gave them the heat lamp and they slept. I just have spoiled ducks. I think ill try the taper idea, go without the light for thirty min then next night an hour and so forth.
