    Using Hay In Nest Box

    I have a nest box with carpet in it. It has worked fine. I made two more nest boxes in my coop addition. I put hay in them and the hay slowly disappears. They must be eating it. Is this bad for them? I am worried about it getting stuck in their crops.

    I have the same problem . They start on the pumpkins and move to the squash. I used a spray bottle with a little dish washing liquid in it and it killed them.     Now the barred rock is going by her and pecking on her comb. They used to run around the pen with out any problems before.It is almost like the barred rock is trying to get her out of there. She stands by her most of the day.
