What treat did your chickies get today?

mine got a peice of watermelon and left over cherrie tomatoes

They help themselves to treats daily(compostables from kitchen) but today I just thrrew some ancient old dry cat food I had in the back of my truck(in tupperware, at least!) and they thought it was fun.

We gave our applesauce and they didn't touch it (must be because of the end-of-the-world thing). Tomorrow we'll give them cabbage.

They got their weekly yoghurt treat, along with some left over salad from earlier this week And since I was home today, they've been free ranging all day too

I gave them bread and sunflower seeds.

Filled thier grain tube and watered them this morning. left the inside light on for the night because the snow was too deep to get out there to shut it off. We've had a pretty good first snow fall with at least 10 inches so far. Still snowing lightly here in Michigan. No treats, just the warmth of the light and hay in the manger! Christmas is coming girls, but the treats are delayed!!!

Wow! I live in Michigan and we have only gotten an inch of snow. But we are around the middle of the LP, so we don't really get any lake effect snow.
