He's taken the vitamins everyday since I got them. Marek's was the first thing I thought he has. I really hope that's not it. I love him so much and he doesn't want to give up either.
Ok, I made him a sling.
The leg that had the curled toes, he doesn't really use it. Maybe it's still paralyzed? He stretches his other leg out to balance himself.
His toes aren't curled anymore, since I had them in a splint for a few days. But he still can't walk. Is there a physical therapy or something I can do to help him walk again?
Hmmm. His toes weren't curly yesterday, but now they are.
Thanks everyone, for the advice so far.
I hope it is not too late for him.
Edit: I now have a picture of his poop.
I keep him inside. He hasn't been exposed to the outside ground much. The only other birds I have are his parents. His poop looks fine and he's been like this for 2 days. He's eating and drinking fine. I've been letting him outside and putting vitamins in his water. His crop is emptying and he...
Weak legs, droopy wings and a lot of sleeping. And he eats chick starter.
I think I left him indoors for too long. I didn't even know rickets existed until yesterday. :/
Thank you.
My rooster is doing ok I guess? Mom got him some pills from the feed store and he seems to be sneezing less at least. I think he might have the same illness that his wife had.
