They are all pullets. The cockerels will take longer to feather out their tails and their combs do become more pink fairly quickly compared to the pullets. Also the males appear to have longer legs.

I've got a chick with both eyes sealed shut. Yesterday I swabbed them with warm water and was able to get one open so she could eat and drink. I put a thin layer of petroleum jelly on them. I also started her on tylan 50 This morning they are sealed shut again. So I tried again to get them open...

Days later. It never showed symptoms of being sick it was eating drinking fine. That's my worry.
What about for chicks? We had a brooder get wet during a flash flood and had to blow dry the chicks. Someone said to give them the T50 orally two drops each but I would like to make sure I'm doing the right thing.
