They have been laying day and night for seven days now, is that a good indication? they really get fluffy and make a "roll your tongue" kinda noise when you put your hands by them

I like what I am hearing I will have to invest in a incubator and just try it out, got to start somewhere!! And maybe keep a few eggs behind innone of the buckets for the girls -although sometimes they like to break eggs which is another thing we are trying to work on!

Oh okay, well they do free range by themselves but I make them go back to the coop with the others at night (if I didn't make them they'd sleep outside or hide in my barn with the cows)
Well my girls aren't by themselves anymore back in April we introduced 20 new birds with them and all I know is them sexlinks I have we call them queen bees because they run the coop and they fly the fence to free range!! But even the roosters run from them. My kids love the sexlinks they are...
Well that's awesome and maybe one day I can lose track of the amount of birds I have too We are just starting out I started last March with babies and only had one I had to put down as a baby do to neck issues it wouldn't pick its neck up, she was a black giant I was so upset!

See mine are losing feathers around their neck and constantly fight with my big rooster they were in the coop first before I got the 6 month olds and they even put the roosters in their place!!
