    Yes I ve been keeping her separated from the rest of the flock,and today let her out in the run for a bit with them(she did great no problems),then I put her back....I go in to my coop and run atleast 6-7x a day to either give treats,feeding,cleaning,just to say hello,and sometimes just to watch...

    no I haven't,but ive been checking her poop several times a day and its clean! I think its stress plus I noticed when we got her that her toe looks broken,shes walking fine and getting onto perches without any issues... I'm going to give it a few more days,and use Cheyenne pepper in all my birds...

    my chickens don't have worms and have no signs however ive been putting a clove of garlic in their water(fresh clove each week) since they were chicks,and will be doing the cayenne pepper this week as a preventative measure and will repeat if needed,if not ill do again in the spring...Love this...

    I have hatchery DP pullets,and heritage breed Buff Orpingtons (Hen and rooster) for breeding... I also have a few Orpington pullets and cockerels too..I plan on keeping my cockerels in a separate area(as they will be strictly for meat)and only allowing my rooster to mate with the Orpington...

    Ive spoken to a few people and they've said she should still be laying regardless of the move,and that chickens don't get as stressed out as we often tend to make them out to be, and maybe that's true but the fact is my hen has not laid since I got her, which leads me to think shes stressed!

    I'm going through the same thing right now..I got a few half grown pullets(2 cockerels),and a hen.. The hen is doing just fine,but the babies spend the majority of the time in the coop,ive only managed to get 2 outside,and that was only when the hen was out there too..

    My highest perch right now is only about 4.5ft high,with other lower perches under it,so they can hop up..Im going to add a few more a little higher up, over the weekend .. I'm just hoping they start using them because my nesting boxes will be going in over the next couple weeks and I do not...

    Ive referred to my pullets as My Girls,and to the Hens I will be getting ive called them Hens because they are..Also I didn't intergrate him in with my pullets right away,it was a slow thing done over a 2 day period which according to the farmer I got him from and articles on this forum 2 days...

    That's hat I was thinking..Right now he tends to rest right beside the coop door...Ill just watch for a few days and then go from there.
