This is their first molt, but yes the behavior did start again when she began molting. I added a second container today I hope it works out.

Currently I cant but I believe it’s about 2-3 feet long. They deal with this much area just fine because we let them outside most of the time.

I’m not sure how many feet, but they’re inside. We let them out almost everyday to get extra air and roam around a little bit before it gets dark

We aren’t looking to get more chickens sadly so getting a rooster wouldn’t work for us :(

But, I’m mainly wondering if maybe the spot she’s missing on her chest/neck is a molt? Because it’s a complete straight line without feathers

Hi, a while back I was asking about why my chicken hadn’t molt yet, she just did today. Near her neck stretching to her chest, she doesn’t have feathers, and I’m assuming it’s a molt? Right under her beak, where her neck is, it’s super wet? And I’m not sure why?

no I don’t need them to, but chickens molt and I’m just guessing mine should too but they haven’t

But my main issue is why they aren’t molting.
