He’s out! Looks like he is still connected to his egg by two tiny little threads. Is that the umbillicus? They’re white colored and literally the diameter of a thread. I should leave those until they fall off naturally, right?
Ok, so update. My twins I think may not have made it. It’s day 28 and there’s no movement. On the other hand, my solo egg duckling internally pipped almost 2 days ago and still nothing! I candled him and he’s still in there, but not as much as yesterday. I read the thread on assisted hatch, but...
So I was unable to get a good photo of the candleing, but when I did I could see 2 humps on the top (large end) and seemingly 2 smaller humps on the bottom as well as some free space when candling the small end.
I go into lock down tomorrow, so any tips are appreciated!
