Ooh thanks, I’ll look into that. To be honest my best guess is that it’s to do with them being heavy birds not really built for long life (mine is a jumbo, so meat birds really) I’ve moved them all into a smaller cage & made sure she can reach everything. She seems content enough in herself... -

Hi, I have 5 little button quail in this cage (parent birds & offspring) & was wondering if I could add a canary or a couple of zebra finches? Interesting. My Coturnix are all female & all seem very mellow when introductions happen, but they are in a large cage indoors. There’d be room to give them plenty of hiding places. I’m happy to keep them separate, just considering options. I’m not worried about them breeding but I don’t want... -
