I just had a hen hatch some eggs for the first time. She integrated them into the flock from day one.

I also highly recommend a variable setting e collar. Be cautious, though. A shock can be very counter productive if used incorrectly. Basic leash corrections have to be basically flawless before even putting on the collar. It does no good to shock a dog for not obeying a command they don't...

I have to say my decision to begin breeding meat rabbits has been well worth the effort! Four litters are on the way this weekend.
In my opinion they are easier than meat chickens, the manure is insanely wonderful, and my kids have a steady supply of baby bunnies to play with!
