I’m sorry once again I’ve been gone all day. I’ve been at livestock shows with my goat the past two days but I’m about to go check on her and rinse those eyes out again. I’ll look inside her mouth as well.

So I was gone all day today and I just got home. It spread to both eyes and they were both closed so I’m guessing it’s an infection. I flushed both eyes out with water and got them open. Tomorrow afternoon I’m going to a feed store to get some eye drop medicine and some antibiotic ointment...

Ok so I rinsed it with warm water and I got it to open. When she opened it there was like a piece of leaf stem in her eye. A very small piece. I think what has happened was when she got it in her eye, the tendency is to close the eye. And a whole bunch of eye mucus surrounded it and fused shut...

I’ll try that. There’s nothing that could have attacked her. She’s friendly with all my other chickens and they are in a completely enclosed run.
