Why is my silkies eye stuck shut?????? Please help

Looks like you're doing everything right. It can be hard to catch these things immediately with crested chickens, so good on you! I'd keep a close eye on both her eye and nostril for the first week or so after you get it off, just to make sure that there's no mucus coming from the nostril or that the eye doesn't close up again. Good luck!
Thank you. I will be keeping a close eye on her and rinsing it with warm water daily. I’m going to do some research tomorrow to see if there’s anything I’m missing.

Can you get some saline to rinse her eye or you can make your own.
Add 2 teaspoons salt to 1 quart of water, bring to a boil for 15minutes. Let cool completely. You can store the homemade solution for up to 24hours in a sterilized jar, then throw out and make new.
Use Saline to flush the eye. A warm compress may help loosen up what's in there but I see what looks like pus in the corner of her eye - that needs to come out. Use a qtip to work it out or you may need to apply some pressure.
Once you get out all you can, then put some eye ointment in the eye. You can find Terramycin or Vetericyn eye gel at most feed stores.
Keep the eye flushed and ointment in the eye until you don't see any more swelling or pus coming from the eye.

Do the best you can to get her nostrils cleared too. You're doing good, just keep at it.

So I was gone all day today and I just got home. It spread to both eyes and they were both closed so I’m guessing it’s an infection. I flushed both eyes out with water and got them open. Tomorrow afternoon I’m going to a feed store to get some eye drop medicine and some antibiotic ointment. Tomorrow morning I’m going to wake up early and flush her eyes out again. I will get some saline as well tomorrow afternoon. Since I believe it’s an infection I isolated her from my other flock. I’m going to flush my other flocks eyes this weekend with saline as a precaution.

I'm sorry that it seems to be spreading. Do the best you can to rinse the eyes. If you don't have saline, I suggest that you use sterile water or you can boil water for 15minutes, let cool and use that. Saline will be much better and won't burn like water will.

What antibiotics are you going to get? We can try to help you with dosing so you makes sure she gets what she needs.

I would also take a look inside her beak to make sure it's free of mucous, canker, pus or lesions.

I’m sorry once again I’ve been gone all day. I’ve been at livestock shows with my goat the past two days but I’m about to go check on her and rinse those eyes out again. I’ll look inside her mouth as well.

Ok so good news. I thought both eyes would close again throughout the day but one stayed open and looks really good. There is no pus coming out the eye that’s open and there is very little mucus around it. The eye that was closed looked as bad as yesterday but I was able to get it open. She was getting frustrated so I couldn’t get a look in her mouth. I will tomorrow. I thought I was going to be home in time to go to the feed store to go look for some eyes antibiotics but I didn’t get home till late. So now I m planning on going tomorrow to go get it. I’m finished with livestock shows till next Thursday so I won’t be busy tomorrow.
