She is doing a lot better, but it seems like after her the rest of the flock caught it, but they are doing better now. There wasn't much that I could do I just had to let them get over what they had but I gave them vitamins and electrolytes, which seemed to help a lot

Hi everyone! I'm very new to owning ducks, I was given two duckies from a family that couldnt keep them anymore. Unfortunately I do not know the age, sex or breed of these adorable fluffs. I would love your input on breed, sex and age if possible. I included a few pictures. They love bath time...

Can you post a picture of the water you made? I'm very new to owning ducks and currently have both duck and chicks together, and their water is always dirty... Also is it okay to keep baby ducks and baby chickens together?

She is still coughing a little bit, so I went and got some bird biotic and put it in their water to treat the whole flock, is there anything else I should do or look for? Also I know this is kinda gross and on a different topic but I noticed some of my chickens have rather dark poop lately...

Oh! Okay phew! :bowBut I still feel uncomfortable trying to get to the air sac, I don't wanna hurt her and I'm still new to having chickens.. Is it possible to injure the crop to get the air out?

So if that's the case. should I not massage her crop??

uhh.. okay you mean like stab her with a needle and help her breathe :eek:

What would I do/ how should I go about treating her if she has a ruptured air sac?
