Florida. They are all a couple years old. Yes I’ve washed his butt. It has been hot. They are free range and no compost piles. Behavior for him is he doesn’t leave co-op very much but the other hens with runny butts are always leaving coop and act fine
I have a couple chickens (rooster pictured is one) that have runny butts and their poo is sticking to them.. they seem maybe a little lethargic as well. What should I do? I already treated for Coccidiosis several months back so I don’t think it’s that? It’s only a couple chickens all the rest...
I separated him by himself with food and water just for him. My roosters typically never fight at all. Sometimes here and there over a hen but nothing bad at all. People are telling me it’s fowl pox
Oh gosh, they got me! I have true blue and also wheaten amerecaunas but the more I was researching what these guys were I realized there was no such thing as red brown black amerecaunas LOL.
They are for sure pretty Easter Eggers though!
I Purchased these as Ameraucanas but the more I read about them I’m thinking they are Easter Eggers instead?
They are beautiful but I just don’t think their true Ameraucanas?
