Happy hens.

This is one of the few times I was actually hoping for a Roo. I bought these two Ayam Cemani chicks in hopes of getting one male and one female.

I’ve been successful with my Roo bachelor pad. I did have to re-home the most aggressive, which were: 3 Polish, 1 Dominique and 1 Golden Laced Wyandotte.

I buy and sell chickens and of course eggs. I haven’t decided on hatching any….yet. But I agree.

They’re a lil bigger now. I’ll take better pics tomorrow. One is definitely bigger than the other. Both are Ayam Cemanis.

Bought these two chicks straight run. I’m hoping for a male and a female.

A two week old chick warming a 4 day old chick.

I’ll post pics of the coop once it’s complete. Currently working on predator proofing around the run. Next will be adding a ceiling to keep the hawks, falcons and bald eagles out.
