    Got a new pet

Good idea. If you need mouse and rat killer, get a cat from a local animal shelter. I recommend a black cat because they seem to be more skittish and “mean “ to animals smaller than him. You can get a tank aquarium and all the things for under 100 bucks. Please look at getting a pet snake...

    Hen or Jake?

Try vent sexing . Gobble to it or make loud clucking noises. If it gobbles back and fluffs up a bit, it’s a male. For extra, put corn out first. The females will be more interested in eating the corn and the males will be more interested in you.

    Former vet tech but stunned

Try Sevin dust. I know that works for mites and lice. Good job with switching their materials. I request making the a dirt bath box. They love it and and it helps with lice. Also if you can and are willing grow catnip or rosemary and put the leaves in the nest boxes and/or shaving to repel insects

Do you have a chicken with an inpackted crop, read this

Vomiting Is dangerous for chickens. That is why you really have to massage the crap before you make them. They might choke on large food, if they do flip them back up and help them push it back down.

Do you have a chicken with an inpackted crop, read this

I’m so sorry about your baby hen Gloria. She was very sick/autistic for some time. Then she got extremely sick and my dad...

Do you have a chicken with an inpackted crop, read this

Sometimes chickens can get a huge crop, just from eating to much at ounce and their body can’t process it fast enough. If you didn’t know a crop is like the neck of the chicken. When chickens eat food the food gets stored in that. Then when the chicken has room, the crop pushes some food down...
