    those are the larvae from a black soldier fly i believe. It kinda looks like a wasp but solid black with no ability to sting. They are under all of my cages as well. so, in a sense, they are maggots but not ordinary maggots.

    Without a doubt, I would buy another dickey without thinking twice. And I will probably have to this spring. The quality is as good or better than a gqf but for a lot less $. I can hatch 96 eggs each week. Check them out.
